Sharing My Musical Journey: How AI Became MyCreative Partner
What if the songs living inside you finally had somewhere to go?
That's exactly what happened when I discovered AI music tools, and my entire creative process transformed in the most unexpected, joyful way.
People often ask how I go from a quiet moment of humming to a fully produced song with visuals. Honestly, it still feels a little like magic every time, so let me walk you through it.
How I Create
It always starts small and intuitive. I pick up my guitar, or just start humming a melody floating around in my head, sometimes my keyboard joins the conversation too.
Nothing fancy, no perfect performance, sometimes planned, sometimes completely spontaneous, just me capturing that first spark on my iPhone.
That rough recording is my seed, the little piece of me that everything else grows from. Sometimes that seed is just a fragment, a few notes or a hum.
Other times, my guitar carries a whole song, start to finish, before it ever meets any AI tool.
From there, I upload that seed into my AI platforms, crafting specific prompts, playing with dozens, sometimes hundreds of variations, guiding the style, instrumentation, tempo, and texture until the music evolves into exactly what I envisioned.
The magic really happens when I throw a guitar riff or chord progression at the AI and just let it respond. It jams back with ideas I never would've found on my own, taking each song somewhere new, somewhere surprising, somewhere better, less like giving orders and more like a back-and-forth conversation with a brilliant, tireless creative collaborator available any hour of the day.
Once the music has a shape, the lyrics come, or sometimes they don't at all. There are songs where I choose humming instead of words, letting the melody itself carry the emotion without anything getting in its way.
Other times, the lyrics show up first, and I write from the heart, then lean on AI to help me refine and polish the words. And here's the part that still amazes me: I upload a sample of my own singing voice, and the AI uses it to actually sing my lyrics, or hum my melodies, back to me. My voice, my song, but somehow expanded.
My Creative Toolkit
Right now, two platforms form the core of my music production: MOISES AI Studio and SUNO Studio. Each offers its own kind of magic, and together they give me the power and possibilities of a full production studio, seamlessly integrated into my creative world.
In practice, this all unfolds slowly and steadily rather than all at once. I usually have about five songs going at the same time, each one at a different stage, some just a rough hum, others already deep into style prompts or lyrics.
I spend roughly three hours a day moving between them, and from that first spark to the finished video and posting it, it takes about a full week per song.
There's no rushing it, it's more like tending a little garden, giving each song exactly the attention it needs on any given day.
Bringing Songs to Life Visually
Every song deserves a visual story. I create original artwork and concepts in PROCREATE, blend in AI-generated design styles from MIDJOURNEY, using design style prompts to shape the art itself, then bring it all together in CANVA, animating everything into a collage that moves and breathes with the same energy as the music.
"AI doesn't replace the artist, it just hands you a bigger paintbrush."
What I love most is that every step still starts with something deeply human, a hum, a chord, a feeling I couldn't quite name yet. Sometimes that feeling never needs words at all, it just needs a melody to hold it.
The tools just help me carry that feeling further than I could alone, and my own hand is still there in every visual, every note. This is what excites me most, not just making music, but creating complete, immersive artistic experiences that are entirely, authentically mine.
"Creativity isn't about doing it all yourself. It's about knowing which hands to trust with your heart."
AI doesn't create for you. It creates with you, and that changes everything.
If you're curious about blending your own creative spark with AI tools, I'd say just start where I did: with one small, imperfect recording. You'd be surprised what it can grow into.
Explore the Playground
If any of this stirred something in you, even just a little, I'd love to invite you into the MUSICAL SELF-CARE PLAYGROUND, a little corner of the internet built for people who want to explore music, journaling, and creativity as a form of gentle self-care. It's not about being a "real musician" or getting it perfect. It's about giving yourself permission to hum, doodle, write, and play, and having a soft, supportive space to do it in.
"You don't need to be an expert to create. You just need to be willing to begin."
COME PLAY. YOUR SONG, YOUR ART, YOUR OWN LITTLE CREATIVE PLAYGROUND IS WAITING!
